Cell Management
The entire cell is run from a single operator panel; part recipe, program selection, safety state and fault diagnostics are gathered on one screen. On a product change the operator picks a stored recipe instead of writing a new program, and on a fault the panel shows the source separately (robot, PLC, power source); troubleshooting starts without waiting for a service visit.
HMI, Recipes & Safety
The technology's role in the cell
Building one robot cell and running five cells with a single operator, a job queue and priorities are different problems. Cell management software addresses the second.
From the operator panel, part recipes are selected, recurring jobs are called from the program library, and robot and job status are monitored in real time. Safety states, alarms and diagnostics live on the same screen, so the operator never leaves for another system.
The interface is deliberately plain enough for a welder to become the robot operator. The goal is independent operation after a few days of training, with no residual dependence on an external robot programmer.
The software integrates with the PLC, the robot controller and the power source; a remote diagnostics link resolves a large share of software-related issues without a site visit.
Capabilities
- Part recipe and variant management
- PLC / robot / power source integration
- Remote diagnostics link: performance data and log access for pre-diagnosis before a site visit
