System Overview

What the system does

In structural steel the member length sets the line. An 18-metre run with an inverted robot gives uninterrupted access on long members.

On the positioner side there are two dual-axis positioners (5,000 kg) plus an idler group. The arrangement is flexible: on short parts the positioners work separately, on long parts they act as a single axis together with the idler. The rail is 6 metres.

Welding programs are generated from the CAD model with MOSES offline programming, so a new member is programmed without stopping production.
