System Overview
What the system does
On small and medium parts the on-site installation time of a cell directly affects payback. A cell with a long site assembly starts producing late.
In this layout the robot, two welding stations, the positioners and the electrical panel sit on a single frame. The cell is completed at the factory, moved to site as one unit and commissioned quickly.
The two stations alternate: while the robot welds at one, the operator loads the other. Pneumatic welding fixtures are designed for the part.
