What the system does
In machining, every minute a machine sits idle is a direct loss. While the operator walks between two machines, both wait in turn, and by the end of a shift the lost time is measured in hours.
Here a single robot tends two CNC machines. A dual gripper lets the robot carry two parts at once: it picks the finished part and places the raw one in the same visit, so the machine door is never open for nothing.
A 98-part rack system provides 4.5 hours of unattended operation. Because the racks rotate pneumatically towards the robot and the operator, loading happens without stopping production. Automatic machine door integration makes the cycle fully automatic.
What sets this system apart
