Twin-Robot Panel Welding Portal

What the system does
On a ship panel the seams are long, numerous and run parallel to one another. The part is large and cannot be turned, so reach has to come from the robot.
Here the portal bridge spans the panel table and two robots move independently along it. While one robot welds a seam, the other moves to the next; that is how continuous progress along the panel is achieved.
The walkway platform on the bridge makes maintenance and torch changes possible without climbing onto the panel. Each robot has its own torch cleaning station mounted on the bridge, and the panel table and perimeter guarding are engineered together with the system.
